Remove bolts (5) and cover (6) .

Remove bolts (7), the washers, and covers (8) .
Remove bolts (10), the washers, and covers (9) .

Remove bolts (12), the nuts, and the washer from manual adjusters (11) .
Raise the screed in order to lower the rear of the extender screed plate.

Remove the cable straps. Disconnect harness assemblies (13) and (14). Move harness assemblies (13) and (14) out of the way.
Place a suitable block under the front of the extender screed plate. Lower the screed in order to release the tension on the front manual adjuster.

Remove bolt (16), the washer, and the nut from manual adjuster (15) .

Raise the screed and move the machine forward. Remove extender plate (17). The weight of extender plate (17) is approximately 58 kg (128 lb).Installation Procedure

Set extender screed plate (17) on the floor with a block under the front of extender screed plate (17). Lower the screed onto extender screed plate (17). The weight of extender screed plate (17) is approximately 58 kg (128 lb).

Install bolt (16), the washer, and the nut to front manual adjuster (15) .
Raise the screed and remove the suitable block.

Connect harness assemblies (14) and (13). Install the cable straps.
Lower the screed to the extender screed plate.

Install bolts (12), the washers, and the nuts to manual adjusters (11) .

Install covers (9), the washers, and bolts (10) .
Install covers (8), the washers, and bolts (7) .

Install cover (6) and bolts (5) .

Attach lifting slings and a suitable lifting device to end gate (1). Install end gate (1),the washers, and bolts (2). The weight of the end gate is approximately 67 kg (148 lb).
