Description of Change: A new oil pump is used on G3600 Engines. The new pump incorporates seals with the capability to withstand higher temperatures. The new pump also has an oil feed hole in order to lubricate the lip seal for the drive shaft. A new seal kit and a new rebuild kit are available for the pump.Adaptable To: The 184-6957 Gear Pump Gp is cancelled and replaced by the 290-9753 Gear Pump Gp. The 288-4608 Seal Kit includes all seals for the pump. The 288-6618 Pump Kit is available to rebuild the pump. The seal kit contains seals only. The rebuild kit contains replaceable parts except for seals. Use both kits for a complete rebuild. Both kits can be used to rebuild older pumps.
