Information:
1. Remove bolt (1) and nut from the pitman arm. 2. Remove the pin that holds the rod end of the steering cylinder to the pitman arm with tooling (A) as shown. 3. Disconnect oil lines (2) and (3) from the steering cylinder. 4. Remove four bolts (4) that hold the upper pin (5) in position. Remove the four bolts that hold the bottom pin in position. 5. Fasten a hoist to the steering cylinder. Install two 1/2"-13 NC forcing screws (6) and remove upper pin (5). Use the two forcing screws and remove the bottom pin.6. Remove steering cylinder (7). The weight is 55 lb. (25 kg).Install Steering Cylinder
1. Fasten a hoist to steering cylinder (1). Put the cylinder in position on the machine.2. Put upper pin (2) and the bottom pin into position. Install the bolts which hold the pins to the frame. 3. Connect oil lines (3) and (4) to the steering cylinder. 4. Make an alignment of hole (5) in the pitman arm with hole (7) in pin (6). Install pin (6) that holds the rod end of the steering cylinder to the pitman arm.5. Install the bolt and nut which hold the pin in place.Disassemble Steering Cylinder
