Remove the piston pump (hydrostatic).

Remove bolts (1) and pump drive coupling (2).

Remove set screws (3) and gear (5). Use Tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (4).Installation Procedure
Install pump drive coupling (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten set screws (3) to a torque of 110 10 N m (81 7 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (B) to bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 220 10 N m (162 7 lb ft).
