ACTION REQUIRED
Upon failure of a valve replacement of all the valves and guides in the head will be required.
Refer to the appropriate Disassembly and Assembly manual for guidance on the repair.
When pin timing the engine use only the right side (as facing the flywheel) timing pin location on the housing for pin timing during repair.
Refill the radiator and engine with coolant. Refer to Special Instruction , M0070968, "Coolant Drain and Vacuum Fill Procedure For Certain C9.3 Through C18 Tier 4 Engines" for proper coolant fill procedure.
