Mark or identify wires for installation purposes.2. Remove nuts (2) and (4).3. Remove the electrical wires from the terminals.4. Disconnect the electrical wire at terminal (3).5. Loosen bolt (1). 6. Loosen bolt (6).7. Push alternator (5) towards engine to relieve tension and to remove V-belts (7).8. Remove bolts (1), (6) and alternator (5).9. Remove the locknut and washer that hold the drive pulley to the alternator. Using a suitable puller, remove the drive pulley from the alternator. For installation of the alternator, reverse the removal steps.10. Make sure the shaft of the alternator in the pulley mounting area is thoroughly clean. Install the drive pulley on the alternator shaft. Install the washer and locknut that hold the pulley in position. Tighten the locknut to a torque of 102 7 N m (76 5 lb ft).11. Tighten the ground wire mounting nut to a torque of 13.5 1.3 N m (10.4 1.2 lb ft).
