Installation Procedure

Install handhold assembly (1) to the platform using four bolts (2) and four hard washers (3).

Install handrail assembly (4) to the platform with six bolts (2) and six hard washers (3). Install plate (5) using three plates (6) three U-Bolts (7) and six nuts (8).

Install gate assembly (9) using two special bolts (10) and two hoses (11). Install the latch system with one bracket (12), two U-Bolts (7), four nuts (13), one rod (14), one washer (15), one spring (16), and one cotter pin (17).

Install handrail assembly (18) and connect the kick rails using two bolts (19), four hard washers (20), and two lock nuts (21). Secure handrail assembly (18) to the platform with eight bolts (22) and eight hard washers (23). Temporarily secure handrail assembly (18) with two bolts (24) and two hard washers (23). Note: Handrail assembly (18) should be loosely installed to prevent interference with the lifting when the platform is assembled onto the truck frame.

Install stairway assembly (25) to the platform with two bolts (26) and two hard washers (23). Secure the stairway assembly (25) with the two bolts (24) and two hard washers (23) temporarily used in Step 4.

Install bracket assembly (27) to the platform with two bolts (26) and two hard washers (23). Install bracket assembly (27) to the air cleaner bracket with three bolts (24) and three hard washers (23). Note: The mud flap may be secured to bracket assembly (27) at this time.

Install extension assembly (28) to the platform with 11 bolts (29) and 11 hard washers (23). Secure extension assembly (28) in place using three bolts (30), six hard washers (23), and three locknuts (32). Additional use four bolts (31), eight hard washers (23) and four locknuts (32), and two bolts (29) and two hard washers (23) to secure extension assembly (28).

Install handrail assembly (33) to the platform using six bolts (29) and six hard washers (23). Two additional bolts (29) and two hard washers (23) from the previous Step are used in the installation.

Install handrail assembly (34) to the platform with six bolts (22) and six hard washers (23), and two bolts (29) and two hard washers (23). Note: Handrail assembly (34) should be loosely installed to prevent interference with the lifting when the platform is assembled onto the truck frame.
