Use Tool (A) in order to install the seals (5) in the water temperature regulator housing (2). Install each seal with the lip toward the inside of the water temperature regulator housing. Install each seal to the bottom of the bore. Put liquid soap on the lips of the seals.
Ensure that the mating surfaces of the water temperature regulator housing (2) are clean. Install the water temperature regulator (4) in the water temperature regulator housing.
Ensure that the mating surface of the adapter (3) is clean. Install a new gasket. Fasten the adapter (3) and the water temperature regulator housing (2) together.
Ensure that the mating surface of the adapter (1) is clean. Install a new gasket. Fasten the adapter (1) to the water temperature regulator housing (2). End By:
