The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects one of the following conditions:
Communication with the transmission cannot be established within three seconds after ECM powerup.
After communication with the transmission has been established, communication stops for one second.The ECM detects all of the following conditions:
If the transmission ECM is being flashed, the transmission ECM is not in sleep mode.
Battery voltage is greater than 19 VDC for five seconds.
The engine is not cranking.System Response:The ECM will log the diagnostic code. All transmission features that rely on the data link are disabled.Possible Performance Effect:
