Modification Procedure
The chart identifies the new components required to modify the former 4T7399 Hoist Diverter Valve. Illustrations 1 and 2 show the locations of the new components.

Replace 9T2799 Housing with new housing (6) and new seal (8) as shown. Tighten new housing (6) to a torque of 150 5 N m (110 4 lb ft).3. Remove plug (10)4. Install new valve group (9) with a new seal (8) as shown. Tighten new valve (9) to a torque of 150 5 N m (110 4 lb ft). Install plug (10) with new seal (8) in the end of new valve group (9).5. Install new connector (3) with new seal (2) in new valve (9). There are two ports (A and B) on the new valve. Install connector (3) in the port that will provide the best routing of new hose assembly (5).6. Install new elbow (1) with new seal (2) in new housing (6).7. Install new seal (4) in connector (3) and elbow (1) and install new hose assembly (5) elbow (1) and connector (3) as shown.
