Control of ignition for the left bank
Governing of the engine
Air/fuel ratio control
Monitoring of the detonation sensors on the left bank
Diagnostics of the electrical system
Monitoring and protection of engine operationSlave ECM (2) supports the following functions:
Control of ignition for the right bank
Monitoring of the detonation sensors on the right bankThe modules do not have a removable personality module. The software is changed by programming a flash file into the module via the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).
