Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the upper fan guard assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install" for the proper procedure.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Note: Carefully place the fan at the bottom of the fan shroud in order to avoid damage to the radiator.
Remove bolts (1) and place fan (2) at the bottom of the fan shroud against the radiator. Note: The spacer must be removed before the fan can be removed.

Remove bolts (3) and remove spacer (4).
Remove fan (2). Installation Procedure

Carefully place fan (2) at the bottom of the fan shroud.
Position spacer (4) and install bolts (3).

Position fan (2) and install bolts (1). End By: Install the upper fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install" for the proper procedure.
