Description of Change: A new Canadian Standards Association (CSA) ignition wiring harness is in production for G3304 and G3306 CSA Engines. The new harness is fabricated from steel channel and is sealed in order to resist the entry of water. Prior to installing the cover, the inside of the channel is filled with foam. The foam reduces the potential for movement of the wire inside the harness assembly. The foam also prevents abrasion to the insulation of the wire.Adaptable To: The new harnesses are direct replacements for the existing harnesses. A minimal amount of modification is required in order to install the new harnesses. The only modification that is required is the removal of the 107-2401 Bracket As . Installation of the harness requires 0S-1617 Bolts and 5P-4116 Hard Washers. Three bolts and three washers are required in order to install the ignition harness on the G3304. Four bolts and four washers are required in order to install the ignition harness on the G3306. Table 1 lists the former part numbers and the new part numbers. Table 2 lists the group part number and the current change level for the G3304. Table 3 lists the group part number and the current change level for the G3306. Refer to Illustration 1 for a typical installation of the ignition harness.
