A - Loctite 242 - Note: Check the O-ring seals and the lip seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.Note: Lubricate all the O-ring seals and the lip seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Cutaway view of the lip seal (14) and O-ring seal (15).
Position lip seal (14), O-ring seal (15), and bearing (16) onto plate (13).

Use a suitable lifting device to position adapter (12) into plate (13). The weight of adapter (12) is approximately 82 kg (180 lb).

Position clamping ring (11).
Position springs (9) and install intermediate pieces (10).

Position lip seal (6), bearing (7), and O-ring seal (8) onto plate (5).

Position plate (3).
Apply Tooling (A) onto both sides of washers (2). Apply Tooling (A) on the threads of bolts (1).
Install bolts (1) and washers (2).
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (1) an extra 90° 15°.End By:
Install the vibration damper.
