2. Disconnect tube assembly (1) from the check valve.3. Disconnect hose assembly (4) from brake retraction pump (2).4. Disconnect wires (3) and (5) from the pump.5. Remove the bolts that hold pump (2) and the plate to the frame, and remove the pump and plate as an assembly.6. If necessary, remove the plate and the check valve from the pump. The following steps are for installation of the brake retraction pump.7. If the plate was removed from the pump. Install the plate on the pump.8. If the check valve was removed from the pump, make sure the O-ring seals are in position on the check valve. Install the check valve with the arrow away from the pump.9. Put the plate and brake retraction pump in position as an assembly, and install the bolts that hold them in place on the frame.10. Connect hose assembly (4) to the pump.11. Connect tube assembly (1) to the check valve.12. Connect wires (3) and (5) to the brake retractor pump.13. Fill the steering hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.
