Right Side of Engine
(1) ATAAC air temperature sensorATAAC air temperature sensor (1) is on the right side of the engine behind the filter housing. The door on the right side of the machine provides access to this component.The machine ECM uses the input from ATAAC sensor (1) to optimize engine performance.Note: ATAAC sensor (1) is on the engine wiring harness.

Right Side of Machine
(2) Hydraulic oil temperature sensorHydraulic oil temperature sensor (2) is on the right side of the machine. This sensor is installed in the return manifold. The door on the right side of the machine provides access to this component.The return manifold collects oil from the following locations:
Propel pump and vibratory pump case drains
Front vibratory motor case drain
Front propel motor case drain
Rear vibratory motor case drain
Rear propel motor case drainThe hydraulic oil temperature sensor measures the temperature of the oil in the return manifold. Since the return manifold collects oil from various sources, the oil temperature sensor provides an accurate system oil temperature for use in the fan control logic.

(3) Engine coolant temperature sensorEngine coolant temperature sensor (3) is on the left side of the engine. The panel on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.Note: Engine coolant temperature sensor (3) is on the engine wiring harness.
