Park the machine on a hard level surface. The ejector must be at the rear of the bowl in order to start the removal process.
Install cribbing in order to level the scraper bowl. Level the scraper bowl in order to keep the ejector assembly from moving, when the ejector cylinder is disconnected.

Attach Tool (A) to frame (1) and to ejector assembly (2) .

Attach Tool (A) to ejector assembly (2) and to link assembly (3) .

Remove tube assembly (4) from ejector cylinder (5) .

Remove hose assembly (6) from ejector cylinder (5) .

Install Tool (B) to ejector cylinder (5) .

Remove retaining cap (7) and pin (8) .

Lower ejector cylinder (5) onto differential axle housing (9) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to move the ejector assembly toward the front of the bowl.Note: Keep tension on Tool (A) at all times in order to prevent unexpected movement of the ejector assembly.

Install Tool (C). Install cribbing across ejector assembly (2) and under ejector cylinder (5) .

Install a suitable lifting device to ejector cylinder (5) in order to remove cribbing.
Lower ejector cylinder (5) until the rear of the ejector cylinder rests on ejector assembly (2) .

Attach a suitable lifting device on the front of ejector cylinder (5). Attach Tool (A) on rear of cylinder.

Remove retainer (7) and remove pin (8) .
Remove ejector cylinder (5). The ejector cylinder weighs 249 kg (550 lb).
