Rework Procedure
Note: Ensure that all safety information, warnings, and instructions are read and understood before any operation or any maintenance procedures are performed. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual "Safety Section".
Refer to the Service Manual if/as necessary.
Machine Preparation:
- Position the machine on firm, level ground.
- Remove any work tool that is attached to the quick coupler.
- Raise the lift arms and engage the brace for the loader lift arm. Refer to SEBU9084, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Loader Lift Arm Brace Operation and Lift Arm Braces".
- Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to UENR3730, Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure ? Release".
- Unbolt the cab, raise and engage brace. Refer to SEBU9084, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cab Tilting".
Rework Procedure:
Replace the failed hose assembly with new hose assembly.
- Locate the white tag on the specified hose assembly part numbers for each group. Refer to Image1.1.1. If date code on the tag is listed below in Image1.1.3, the hose assembly should be replaced and it is covered in this Service Letter program.
- If white tag is missing, look for the hose cure date code ink jet printed in yellow ink directly on the bulk hose material. If cure date code is 10 12 2015 564963 the hose assembly should be replaced. Refer to Image1.1.2 for example of the cure date code.

Refer to the following images in order to help locate the hose assembly on the machine for each group:

If undercarriage needs to be moved refer to UENR3730, Disassembly and Assembly, "Undercarriage - Remove and Install".
1. Cut any applicable cable tie straps and disconnect the affected drive hose assembly.
2. Replace the 6V-8397 O-Ring in the adapter at each connection of the hose assembly.
3. Connect the new hose assembly and tighten the hose couplings to a specified torque of 45 +/- 5 N.m (33 +/- 4 lb ft).
4. Replace any applicable cable tie straps.
5. If required, assemble the undercarriage back to machine.
6. Lower cab and bolt cab to frame. Refer to SEBU9084, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cab Tilting". Tighten the bolts to a specified
