Extend the blade to the right side of the machine until the blade reaches the maximum position.
Remove cotter pin (1) and pin (2) from bracket (3) .

Remove six cover plates (4), bolts (5) and washers from three mounting brackets (6) .

Put identification marks on wear plate (7) and two shims (8) for installation purposes. Remove wear plate (7) and two shims (8), which are located between brackets (6) and moldboard rail (9) .

Attach Tooling (A) to the right end of blade (11). Position a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist.
Retract hydraulic cylinder (10). Place a suitable spacer between hydraulic cylinder (10) and bracket (3). The minimum size of the spacer should be 152 mm (6 inch) wide, 152 mm (6 inch) high, and 1.5 m (5.00 ft) long. Extend hydraulic cylinder (10) to the right in order to push blade (11) to the right. Push the blade to the right until the blade is free of center mounting bracket (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) to both ends of blade (11). Position a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. Remove blade (11) from the blade assembly. The weight of blade (11) is 641 kg (1413 lb).
