Schematic of the Position Sensor for the load selectorThis diagnostic code is recorded when the implement ECM reads the signal wire (H721-OR) for the load selector as being out of range. The signal is a PWM signal.The possible causes of the diagnostic code are listed:
There is an intermittent open in the signal circuit.
There is an intermittent short to ground in the signal circuit.
There is an intermittent short to the battery in the signal circuit.
The load selector has failed.
The ECM has failed. This is unlikely.System Response:The load selector does not respond to changes in position. When a diagnostic code is present for the load selector, the autocarry will function at the default load factor of 100%.Test Step 1. CHECK THE LOAD SELECTOR.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the load selector from the machine harness.
At the harness connector for the load selector, measure the resistance between signal contact C (wire H721-OR) and ground contact B (wire 210-BK).Expected Result:The resistance that is measured
