Engine Oil Pressure - This light indicates that the engine oil pressure is low. This signal is received by the Caterpillar Monitoring System from the engine ECM via the CAT Data Link. The indicator lights when the switch voltage is high or the switch voltage is floating.
Parking Brake - This light indicates that the parking brake is engaged. Parking brake status is received over the CAT Data Link. The information is used to modify the warning level of this indicator. If the machine is in neutral, only the indicator lights. However, if the machine is in a forward gear or a reverse gear, the action lamp and the action alarm also activates.
Brake Oil Temperature Or Torque Converter Oil Temperature - This light indicates that the torque converter oil temperature is greater than 121 °C (250 °F). This light also illuminates when the brake oil temperature is greater than 121 °C (250 °F). The temperature data is received via the CAT Data Link.
Charging System Status - This light indicates that battery voltage is outside the range of 24.8 to 29.5 VDC, while the engine is running. In addition to the lighting of the indicator, the action lamp and the action alarm will also activate when the battery voltage rises above 32 DCV.
Maintenance Required - This light indicates that the engine requires maintenance.
Air Filter Restriction - This light indicates that the air filter is restricted. The status is received from the engine ECM via the CAT Data Link.
Brake Accumulator Oil Pressure - This light indicates that the brake oil pressure is low. The pressure is received via the CAT Data Link from the Power Train/Chassis ECM.
Engine Coolant Level - This light indicates that the engine coolant level is low. The status is received from the engine ECM via the CAT Data Link.
Transmission Oil Pressure - This light indicates that the transmission oil pressure is low. The information is received from the Power Train/Chassis ECM via the CAT Data Link.
Engine Overspeed - This light indicates that the engine is overspeeding. The status is received from the engine ECM via the CAT Data Link.
