When you transport the shear on the host machine, position the shear so the stick can be moved under the boom and the boom can be carried as low as possible.

This illustration represents the transportation of the VHS-10 shear with the left side of the shear parallel to the ground.When you transport the VHS-10 shear on a skid steer loader, close the jaws of the shear. Rotate the shear for 90 degrees in either direction in order to have either side of the shear parallel to the ground.When you must transport the shear on another vehicle, the jaw of the shear should be closed. Position the shear flat on the bed of the vehicle. Position the shear with the lifting eyes in an upward position.The following shears are equipped with a transport locking device: VHS-30, VHS-40, VHS-50, VHS-60 and VHS-70. The transport locking device prevents the upper housing from moving when the shear is transported. The location of the device for each model is shown in the following illustrations.Rotate the shear until the devices that lock the swivel are aligned. Install the lock devices for the swivel. Close the jaws of the shear.
