Right Door Support
Disconnect ether starting aid tube assembly (26) .
Disconnect electrical harness connector (28) .

Remove the four bolts that fasten right door support (27) to the machine. Remove right door support (27) .Note: Use Step 19 and Step 20 in order to remove the left door support.

Disconnect two hose assemblies (30) from left door support (29) .
Remove two fittings (31) from left door support (29) .

Remove the four bolts (hidden) that fasten left door support (29) to the machine. Remove left door support (29) .
Drain the coolant from the cooling system until the level of the coolant is below the coolant tank. Drain all fluids in a suitable container for storage or for disposal. The capacity of the cooling system is 268 L (70.8 US gal).

Disconnect coolant hose assembly (32) and coolant hose assembly (33) from the tee fitting. Hose assembly (32) will remain with the engine and hose assembly (33) will remain with the radiator guard assembly.
Repeat Step 23 for the remaining two hose assemblies on the opposite side of the hood.

Loosen hose clamp (35) and disconnect hose (36) from coolant tank (34) .

Disconnect electrical harness connector (37) at the right front corner of the hood.
Remove two harness clips (39) and place harness (38) aside in order to remove the remaining engine enclosure.

Remove handhold assemblies (40) from firewall panel assembly (41) .

Install Tooling (A) on firewall panel assembly (41). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting slings to Tooling (A) and the grill panel of the hood assembly, as shown. The weight of the hood and firewall panel assembly is 250 kg (550 lb).

Open rear platform door (42) in order to gain access to the bolts.

Remove four bolts (43) that are located near platform door (42) .

Remove bolt (45) that secures the left hood rail to radiator group (44). Repeat this step for the left side of the hood.

Carefully remove the hood and firewall panel assembly. The weight of the hood and firewall panel assembly is 250 kg (550 lb).
