Note: The above illustration shows the conveyor hydraulic system with the engine running and the conveyors off.When the engine is operating, oil from the charge pump flows through the charge filter and to the charge manifold. The charge manifold splits the charge flow between the following hydraulic systems on the machine:
Propel system
Fan system
Conveyor systemPort"D" of charge manifold (24) directs oil into port"E" of the conveyor pump. Internal passages in the pump direct charge oil to the following locations:
Pump interlock solenoid (19)
Charge relief valve (20)
Port"M3"
Forward makeup and relief valve (14) for front rotating group (17)
Reverse makeup and relief valve (3) for front rotating group (17)
Forward makeup and relief valve (9) for rear rotating group (22)
Reverse makeup and relief valve (24) for rear rotating group (22)When the engine is operating, pump interlock solenoid (19) is energized. This solenoid directs charge oil to the pump control solenoids. When the conveyors are not operating, none of the pump solenoids are energized. Under these conditions, some charge oil flows through the spool into both sides of servo pistons (18)
