Engine News SEBD9714, 1 July 2011, "New Accessory Drive Groups Are Available for Certain 3508B, 3508C, 3512B, and 3512C Locomotive Engines". The original article has been revised to add the former accessory drive groups and effective serial numbers for the new accessory drive groups.The new accessory drive groups utilize a thrust washer that enables the drive groups to withstand axial forces.The new 365-7633 Accessory Drive Gp replaces the original 7C-4113 Accessory Drive Gp in the above engines. The 7C-4113 Accessory Drive Gp is not canceled.The new 368-2087 Accessory Drive Gp replaces the original 282-5194 Accessory Drive Gp in the above engines. The 282-5194 Accessory Drive Gp is not canceled.The new 365-7633 Accessory Drive Gp is a single accessory drive and the The new 368-2087 Accessory Drive Gp is a dual accessory drive. The only difference between the accessory drive groups is the number of parts.
