Schwitzer TurbochargersOnly one dowel pin is now used in the center housing of Schwitzer turbochargers to hold the thrust bearing in the correct position. In the past, most Schwitzer turbochargers used two pins for this purpose. Some center housings in stock have two holes drilled in them for the dowel pins. When these housings are used, only one dowel will be installed instead of two. In the future, only one hole will be drilled in the center housing. The part number of the center housing will not change. For the present, the thrust bearings will still be made with two holes.
