2 1 7J-0204 O-Ring Seal Lightly, lubricate the bore with engine oil, glycerine, or clean water.
3 1 9M-3786 O-Ring Seal Lightly, lubricate the bore with engine oil, glycerine, or clean water.
4 1 3F-1358 Drain Plug Torque to 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
5 1 8T-6764 Pipe Plug Torque to 14 2 N m (124 18 lb in).
6 1 7N-4758 Thrust Washer Thickness is 8.5 mm (0.33 inch)
7 1 3H-5844 Bolt Torque to 38 4 N m (28 3 lb ft).
Before assembly, lubricate the face and the threads of the washer with 4C-5592 Anti-Seize Compound.
No anti-seize is allowed on the face of the impeller .
8 1 8C-5236 Lip Type Seal Do not lubricate the sealing lip.
9 1 315-5136 Shaft As Diameter of the shaft for impeller is 16.96 mm (0.668 inch).
Width in the groove of the shaft for the thrust washer is 8.75 0.50 mm (0.344 0.020 inch).
10 1 262-4378 Water Pump Seal As Use the following procedure to install the seal group.
1. During assembly use clean water or P80 lubricant..
2. Use Installation tool and hand presure for assembly.
3. Seat the ceramic ring and the rubber seal into the housing with the polished face of the ring toward the carbon seal group..
4. Remove the spring from the seal assembly .
5. Use Installation tool and hand presure to press the seal assembly on the shaft until the faces of the seal makes the contact lightly.
6. Install the spring.
