ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the existing 501-1450 IMU Sensors on the boom and the stick with improved IMU 563-0598 Sensors. Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
1. Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the existing 501-1450 IMU Sensor from the boom. Retain the three bolts, three washers, and two dowels for reuse.
2. Install the new 563-0598 IMU Sensor on the boom using the dowels (reuse) as guide. Reinstall the bolts and washers (reuse) on the sensor. Push the sensor against the dowel toward machine front direction and tighten the three bolts to a specified torque of 15 +/-3 N.m in the order of A, B, and C. Reconnect the wiring harness. Refer to Image1.2.1.

3. Repeat Step 1 and 2 on the IMU sensor on the stick. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Start the engine and conduct IMU identification. Select following items on the display. "App" => "Setting" => "Service" => "Calibration" => "IMU Identification". Refer to Image1.4.1.
