This Special Instruction provides a guide for ordering parts to install the new jacket water heater group for 3500 Engines. Additionally, each section contains two reference tables to assist in the proper installation of these new heaters.All Serial Numbers
All engines need two jacket water heater groups. Refer to Table 1 to select the heater with the correct voltage.Note: Caterpillar recommends using a 6Kw heater.
