Install seal ring (27) onto pinion shaft (20). Raise the temperature of bearing cone (26) to install onto pinion shaft (20).
Apply a generous amount of Tooling (A) onto bearing cone (26).

Use Tooling (B) to install lip seal (25).
Lower the temperature of bearing cup (24). Install bearing cup (24) into the housing.

Install housing (23) onto pinion shaft (20).

Raise the temperature of bearing cone (21). Install bearing cone (21).
Use a suitable press to seat bearing cone (21) onto pinion shaft (20). Apply a force of 3100 to 3599 kg (6835 to 7935 lb). Remove the suitable press. Install collars (19).
Install ring (18).

Install bearing races (16) and thrust washers (17) onto carrier assembly (2).
