This new valve guides are produced with powdered metal technology. The new valve guides will provide increased service life.Adaptable To: The new 116-7553 Valve Guide (tapper top) is a direct replacement for the former 103-3298 Valve Guide (taper top) in 3306C (9TL) Truck Engines. The new is effective with 3306C (9TL6603) Truck Engine and adaptable to all earlier (9TL) Truck Engines. The 9U-6954 Bushing and 7S-8859 Driver are used to install the new 116-7553 Valve Guide (tapper top). The new 109-0390 Valve Guide (flat top) is a direct replacement for the former 2P-1262 Valve Guide (flat top) in all other 3306 and 3306B Diesel Truck Engines. The former valve guide is canceled. The 7S-8858 Bushing and 7S-8859 Driver are used to install the new 109-0390 Valve Guide (flat top).
