Removal Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Do not remove the shroud that is required by OSHA while the heat exchanger is under pressure.
Shut off the external water supply to the expansion tank.
Drain the water from the expansion tank into a suitable container.
Remove the expansion tank.

Remove the clamp (1).
Remove the clamp (3).
Remove the pipe (2).

Remove the eight bolts (4).
Remove the eight bolts (5).

Disconnect the clamp (6).
Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to the pipe assembly (8).
Remove the eight bolts (9).
Remove the eight bolts (7).
Remove the pipe assembly (8).

Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to the pipe assembly (11).
Remove the eight bolts (10).
Remove the eight bolts (12).
Remove the clamp (13) and the clamp (14).
Remove the pipe assembly (11).

Attach chains and a suitable lifting device to the frame.
Remove the four bolts (15) and washers.

Remove the four bolts (16) and washers.
Remove the frame (17) from the base.
