Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hood assembly (2). The weight of hood assembly (2) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).
Remove bolts (3) and hood assembly (2).

Open grill assembly (4). Repeat for the opposite side.

Disconnect hose assemblies (5). Remove tube assembly (6).

Attach a suitable lifting device to steering oil cooler (7). The weight of steering oil cooler (7) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).
Remove bolts (9) and plate assembly (10). Repeat for the opposite side.
Remove bolts (8) and remove steering oil cooler (7). Installation Procedure

Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Position hydraulic oil cooler (7) and install bolts (8).
Install plate assembly (10) and bolts (9). Repeat for the opposite side.

Install tube assembly (6). Connect hose assemblies (5).

Close grill assembly (4) and install the bolts. Repeat for the opposite side.
