Remove four bolts (5) and the four washers from manifold (6) .

Use a strap and a suitable lifting device to support accumulator assembly (7) and manifold (6) .
Remove two bolts (9) and the two washers. Lift the accumulator, the manifold and support assembly (10) from cylinder (8). The approximate weight of the accumulator, the manifold and the support assembly is 23 kg (50 lb).

Turn the manifold in order to remove O-ring seal (11) .

Remove needle valve (12), O-ring seal (13) and washer (14) from manifold (6) .
Remove valve (15) and O-ring seal (16) from the manifold.

Remove dust cap (17) and remove valved nipple assembly (21) from manifold (6) .
Loosen clamp (23) and remove hose (18) from pipe elbow (22). If necessary, remove the pipe elbow.
Remove the two locknuts, strap assembly (20) and support assembly (19) from accumulator assembly (7) .
Use Tool (A) to remove accumulator assembly (7) and the O-ring seal from the manifold.

Remove four socket head bolts (26) .
Remove cylinder (8) from guide (25) and rod assembly (24) .

Remove hex socket plug (27) and the O-ring seal from cylinder (8), if necessary.

Remove sleeve bearing (28) from cylinder (8) .

Remove bolt (30) and spacer (31) from rod assembly (24) .
Remove O-ring seal (29) from guide (25) .

Remove rod assembly (24) from guide (25) .
Remove plug (33) from the guide, if necessary.
Remove hydraulic fitting (32) from the rod assembly, if necessary.

Remove lip type seal (34) from both sides of the rod assembly.
Remove aligning bearing (35) from the rod assembly.

Remove wear ring (36) from guide (25) .

Turn guide (25) to the opposite end. Remove lip seal (37), U-cup seal (38), seal assembly (39) and wear ring (40) .
