Challenger 95E (6KS) Agricultural TractorsDescription of Change: The Machine Performance Panel has been improved to better backlight the decal symbols below the display for better visibility at night. In addition to this change, the default factory constants have been changed to match machines with 3176 and 3196 engines. The former Machine Performance Panel was factory preset to match the 3306 engine settings.Adaptable To: The new 141-1630 Control Group (English units) replaces the former 3E-9167 Control Group. The new 141-1631 Control Group (Metric Units) replaces the former 3E-9170 Control Group. The new control groups are effective with Challenger 65E (6GH1-Up), Challenger 75E (6HS1-Up), Challenger 85E (6JS1-Up), and Challenger 95E (6KS1-Up) Agricultural Tractors. The improved control groups are adaptable to all "C" Series and "D" Series Challenger Agricultural Tractors. When replacing the former performance panels in Challenger 65C (2ZJ1-1964), Challenger 65D (2ZJ1965-Up), and Challenger 70C (2YL) Agricultural Tractors, the factory constants must be modified. All other models should not require changes to the factory configurations. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5273, for more information on the procedure to change the factory constants.
