Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the control group.

Illustration 2 g00806652Note: The pin and the cotter have been removed from clevis (5) on rod assembly (6) for photographic purposes.Note: Spacer (4) has been omitted in some applications. The distance between lever lock (3) and the end of the shaft must be determined for these particular applications before disassembly.
Disconnect rod assembly (6). Loosen bolt (2). Remove lever lock (3) and spacer (4) from shaft (1).

Loosen set screw (8). Place a punch or a drift in the blind hole in collar (9). To loosen collar (9), strike the collar with a hammer in the counterclockwise direction. Reposition collar (9) on shaft (1) away from bearing assembly (7).
Remove two bolts (10) and washers. Remove shaft assembly (1) from the operator's console.
