Under Operator Seat
(1) Seat switchesTwo seat switches (1) are located under the operator seat.The seat switch contacts are normally open. When the operator is present in the seat, seat switches (1) are closed. If either seat switch is closed, the machine will operate normally. Both switches must be open to indicate that the operator is out of the seat.Note: If the operator leaves the seat during forward or reverse travel, the operator must return to the seat to continue normal travel operation.

(9) Traction fuseThe fuse and relay panels are on the back side of the operator console. A cover must be removed to access the fuses and relays.The propel system uses the following fuses as described:
Engine start switch fuse (2) provides unswitched power to pin"3" and"4" of the E-stop switch. The engine start switch fuse is rated at 7.5 amp.
Cluster fuse (3) provides unswitched power to contact"9" of the display. The cluster fuse is rated at 7.5 amp.
Neutral fuse (8) provides switched power to contact"30" of neutral switch relay (7) and pin"1" of the seat switch connector. The fuse also provides power to pin"4" of propel lever connector, pin"1" of neutral switch connector, and contact"2" of parking brake switch. The neutral fuse is rated at 15 amp.
Traction fuse (9) provides switched power to pin"2" of the traction switch. The traction fuse is rated at 7.5 amp.Park brake relay (6) and neutral switch relay (7) work with the parking brake switch. Interaction between these relays prevents release of the parking brake when the brake is engaged and the propel lever is out of the NEUTRAL position.If either of the seat switches are open during forward or reverse travel, seat switch relay number-one (4) is energized. In this case, seat switch relay number-two (5) is not energized and power is no longer available at the seat switch solenoid.Note: For more information on the park brake solenoid and the seat switch solenoid, refer to "Propel Pump (Propel)" in this publication.

Engine Compartment
(10) Neutral switchNeutral switch (10) is on the top of the propel pump.When the propel lever is in the NEUTRAL position, neutral switch (10) is closed. This switch is open when the propel lever is in the FORWARD position, and open when the propel lever is in the REVERSE position. The neutral switch controls the coil of the neutral switch relay. When the neutral switch is closed, the coil of the relay is energized.

Rear of Machine
(11) Back-up alarmBack-up alarm (11) is at the rear of the machine.The reverse switch controls the power supply to back-up alarm (11). The back-up alarm sounds when the machine is traveling in reverse.
