Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to put lift cylinder (6) in position, as shown. The weight of the cylinder is 65 kg (143 lb). Install two spacers and pin (7) .
Install retainer (8) and the bolt.

Connect hose assemblies (1) and (3) to the lift cylinder.
Install the clip and bolt (2) .

Start the machine. Move the lift cylinder until the rod assembly makes contact with the trunnion ball on the bulldozer blade.
Put cap (5) and the shims in position on the rod assembly.Note: Install an equal amount of shims on each side of the cap in order to obtain a clearance of 0.3 to 0.8 mm (0.01 to 0.03 inch) between the cap and the trunnion ball.
Install four bolts and nuts (4) .Installation of VPAT Bulldozer Lift Cylinder

Attach a lifting sling to the lift cylinder. The weight of the cylinder is 46 kg (101 lb).
Install the lift cylinder to the original location. Install pin (3). Install the retainer and pin (2) .

Install the hydraulic hose assemblies (1) to the lift cylinder.
