7 1 - Before assembly, lubricate the threads of the pipe plug with Loctite C5A Copper Anti-Seize.
8 6 Bolt Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts for the cylinder head:
Before assembly, apply clean engine oil to the threads of the bolts.
Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to a torque of 30 5 N m (22 4 lb ft).
Again, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to a torque of 200 15 N m (148 11 lb ft).
Again, retighten bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to a torque of 200 15 N m (148 11 lb ft).
Turn bolt 1 through bolt 8 in the numerical sequence to an angle of 180 5 degrees as shown in Illustration 2 .
Tighten two bolts (10) only after bolt 1 through bolt 8 have been given the final torque.
Tighten two bolts (10) to 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
