Certain C1.1 and 3011C cylinder blocks that have been drilled incorrectlyInspect the cylinder block in accordance with step 4.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

If necessary, remove the oil pressure switch (1) and adapter (4) .
Remove washers (3) and oil line (2) .
Clean the rear face of the oil hole. Ensure that no oil or debris is present.

Inspect the oil hole for evidence of breakthrough into the crankcase. Illustration 2 shows a cylinder block with no breakthrough in the hole (5) .Note: If breakthrough has occurred, the engine must be rejected.Note: If there is no breakthrough, new 153-5936 Washers are required.
Install engine oil pressure switch (1) to adapter (4). Tighten engine oil pressure switch (1) to a torque of 23 N m (17 lb ft).
Install two new washers (3) to oil line (2). Install oil line (2) and install adapter (4) to the cylinder block.
Tighten adapter (4) to a torque of 11.5 N m (102 lb in).
