Removal Procedure

Loosen clamp (3). Remove the exhaust pipe.
Loosen clamp (4). Remove the precleaner.
Loosen three knobs (2). Remove cover (1) .

Remove two mounting bolts (5) from the rear of the hood.
Loosen clamp (6) and remove the rubber boot.

Remove two mounting bolts (7) from the front of the hood.

Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (8), as shown. Remove the hood. The weight of the hood is 34 kg (75 lb).Installation Procedure

Use a suitable lifting device to put hood (8) in position. The weight of the hood is 34 kg (75 lb).

Install two mounting bolts (7) into the front of the hood.

Put the rubber boot in position and tighten clamp (6) .
Install two mounting bolts (5) into the rear of the hood.

Install cover (1). Tighten three knobs (2) .
Install the precleaner. Tighten clamp (4) .
Install the exhaust pipe. Tighten clamp (3) .
