Either of the methods will set the valve group near the specified 42 000 kPa (6100 psi) at 5 L/min (1.3 U.S. gpm).
Adjusting The 9T5364 Valve Group On The Machine
1. Install a 52 000 kPa (7500 psi) gauge in the circuit.2. Start the engine and go to stall steer (at low idle) toward the side in which the new valve was installed.3. Remove cap (1), loosen locknut (2), and back out (turn counterclockwise) adjustment screw (3) until the gauge reading is below the 38 000 kPa (5500 psi) pump cut-in pressure.4. Turn adjustment screw (3) in until the pressure gets to 38 000 kPa (5500 psi). Do not go above 38 000 kPa (5500 psi).5. Turn adjustment screw (3) in another one-quarter turn and tighten locknut (2). Install cap (1).Adjusting The 9T5364 Relief Valve Group On A Test Bench
1. Install a 1U7770 Manifold Test Block on the test bench.2. With the oil flow set at 1.5 to 1.9 L/min (0.4 to 0.5 U.S. gpm), turn adjustment screw (3) to set the valve to approximately 41 200 400 kPa (5975 58 psi).3. Tighten locknut (2) and replace cap (1).
