Removal Procedure
Personal injury or death may result from failure to adhere to the following procedures.Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.Clean up all leaked or spilled fuel. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system.Turn the disconnect switch OFF or disconnect the battery when changing fuel filters.
Drain the fuel filter. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System Primary Filter (Water Separator) - Drain" for the correct draining procedure.

Engine side guards and hood removed for photographic purposes.
Cut cable strap (1). Remove bolt (2). Disconnect hose assembly (3).

Remove bolt (4).

Cut cable strap (5). Disconnect harness assembly (6).

Cut cable straps (7) and (11). Disconnect harness assemblies (8) and (9). Disconnect hose assembly (10).

Cut cable straps (12) and (13). Reposition the harness assembly out of the way.

Remove bolts (14).

Remove bolts (16) and primary fuel filter and base (15).Installation Procedure
Install primary fuel filter and base (15) in the reverse order of removal.
