Introduction
This section discusses the "Setup Menu" dialogs. Use these dialogs in order to access the items that are used for setup of the AccuGrade System.Note: The contents of the "Setup Menu" dialog are configurable at the job site. The number of items in the "Setup Menu" may vary depending on the settings of your system and the machine settings. Table 1 lists the default menu items.

Setup Menu - 3D Configuration Menu Items    
Menu Item     Description    
"Select Design"     Allows the operator to select the design file that will be used on the job site.    
"Vertical Offset"     Allows the operator to specify the vertical offset of the reference surface.    
"Horizontal Offset"     Allows the operator to specify the horizontal offset of the reference surface.    
"GPS Accuracy"     Allows the operator to choose one of the following accuracy modes for the GPS guidance:     Fine
Medium
Course    
"Blade Wear"     Information on the wear of the cutting edge is entered into the AccuGrade System so that the AccuGrade GPS can adjust for the wear of the cutting edge. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Blade Wear - Set" for addition information.    
"Vertical Setup"     Allows the operator to change the method of guidance. The following list includes some of the methods:     3D, 1 Point Center
3D, 1 Point Focus
3D, 2 Point Tips    
"On-Grade Tolerance"     Allows the operator to specify the distance off-grade at which two LED indicators will be lit.    
"Display Brightness"     Allows the operator to specify the brightness of the display.    
"Calibrate Sensors"     Allows the operator to calibrate the angle sensors that are installed in the AccurGrade System.    
"Map Recording" (1).     The main purpose of map recording is to display, on the plan view, position and attribute information. Terrain logging files ".st" are also recorded when using certain map recording types. Terrain logging files are used in the AccuGrade Office software.
