Information:

1. Disconnect tube assembly (1) and hose assembly (2) from the transmission neutralizer group.2. Disconnect wires (3).3. Remove two bolts (5). Remove the transmission neutralizer group from the transmission case and the valve spool in the hydraulic control valve.4. Remove plate (4). 5. Loosen nut (7). Remove rod (10) and cam (11) from the cable assembly.6. Remove nut (8) from cable assembly (9). Remove transmission neutralizer group (6) from the cable assembly.Install Transmission Neutralizer Group
1. Put cable assembly (3) in position in transmission neutralizer group (1). Install nut (2).2. Install cam (5) and rod (4) on the cable, and tighten nut (6).3. Install plate (8).4. Check the condition of the O-ring seal on the neutralizer control. If the seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.5. Install the transmission neutralizer group on the valve spool of the hydraulic control valve and the transmission case. 6. Connect the tube assembly and hose assembly to the neutralizer control group.7. Adjust the transmission neutralizer group. Start By:a. remove transmission neutralizer group 1. Remove two bolts (1), and remove the spring and lever assembly (2).2. Remove the retainer ring and pin from lever assembly (2) to separate the levers.3. Remove bolts (4), and remove housing (5) and plate (3). Remove the O-ring seal on each side of plate (3). 4. Loosen locknut (7), and remove cam (6) from rod (8). Remove rod (8) from the housing.5. Remove screws (9) from each switch. Remove two switches (10) and the wiring harness from the housing as a unit.6. Disconnect the wires from switches (10). Put identification marks on the wires so they will not be mixed at assembly. Remove switches (10) from the wiring harness. 7. Remove piston (12) from housing (5). Remove seal (11) from piston (12). The following steps are for the assembly of the transmission neutralizer group.8. Clean and inspect seal (11). If it is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.
When quad-ring seal (11) is installed on the piston, the seal should not be rolled or twisted in the groove in piston (12). This will cause excessive drag and result in seal failure.
9. Install seal (11) on piston (12). Coat the bore of housing (5) with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease. Install piston (12) in housing (5).10. Connect the wires to switches (10). Position the switches and wiring harness as a unit in the housing.11. Install screws (9).12. Install locknut (7) and rod (8) in cam (6). Install the cam assembly into the housing.13. For the adjustment procedure of the cam assembly, refer to the Power Shift Transmission Testing And Adjusting Module, Form No. SENR4990.14. Coat lever assembly (2) with 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease. Install the pin and retainer pin to hold the two levers together.15. Position the spring and lever assembly in the hosing, and install bolts (1).16. Clean and inspect
