Information:
The following refers to moving the Power Pack with the 300.9D VPS Mini Hydraulic Excavator. Before you load the Power Pack onto the trailer, remove ice, snow, or other slippery material from the loading dock and from the truck bed. This will prevent the Power Pack from sliding while the Power Pack is being loaded. This will also keep the Power Pack from moving in transit.Note: Obey all laws that govern the characteristics of a load (height, weight, width, and length). Observe all regulations that govern wide loads.Choose the flattest ground when you load the Power Pack or when you unload the Power Pack.
Before you load the Power Pack, chock the trailer wheels or the rail car wheels.
When you use loading ramps, make sure that the loading ramps have adequate length, adequate width, adequate strength, and an adequate slope.
Maintain the slope of the loading ramps within 15 degrees of the ground.
Position the machine so that the machine can drive straight up the loading ramps. The final drives should be toward the rear of the machine.Do not operate the joysticks while the machine is on the loading ramps.
When you drive over the loading ramp joint areas, maintain the balance point of the machine.
Lower the Power Pack to the bed or to the floor of the transport machine.
Improper lifting or tiedowns can allow load to shift and can cause injury and damage.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Specifications" for shipping specifications.Loading the Power Pack
Remove all dirt from the Power Pack.
Close and lock all covers.

Fasten suitable slings to lifting point (A).
Slowly raise the power pack until there is no more contact with the ground.
Wait until the power pack does not swing any more.
If the balance, and the condition and position of the slings is correct, slowly raise the power pack to the required height and load it.
Tie down the power pack at the four tie-down points.
Transport the power pack only on its wheels.Note: The manufacturer's warranty shall not apply to accidents or damage caused by loading or transporting.Loading on a Forklift Truck
