Remove the fuel tank.
Isolate the electric power generation set. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Generator Isolating for Maintenance" for the correct procedure.

Remove bolts (2). Using a suitable lifting device, remove exhaust assembly (1). The weight of exhaust assembly (1) is approximately 89 kg (196 lb). Remove the gasket.

Remove bolts (4). Using two people or a suitable lifting device, remove exhaust assembly (3). The weight of exhaust assembly (3) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove the gasket.

Remove clamps (5) and remove flexible hose assembly (6).

Remove bolts (7) and panel (8).

Remove bolts (10) and panel (9). Repeat for panel (11).

Remove exhaust insulation (12).

Using two people, remove bolts (13) and remove bellows (14). The weight of bellows (14) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb). Remove the gaskets.

Remove channel (15).

Using two people, remove panels (16), (17), and (18). The weight of panels (16) and (18) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb). The weight of panel (17) is approximately 35 kg (77 lb).
Remove brackets (19).

Use a fork lift to support muffler assembly (21). Remove bolts (20) and remove muffler assembly (21). The weight of muffler assembly (21) is approximately 912 kg (2011 lb). Installation Procedure
Install muffler assembly (21) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (13).
Apply Tooling (A) to the holes for bolts (2) and (4) prior to installation.
Tighten bolts (20) to a torque of 460 60 N m (339 44 lb ft).
Install the bolts for panels (7), (9), (11), (16), (17), and (18) loosely until all of the panels are in position, then tighten to a torque of 28 7 N m (248 62 lb in).
