Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove springs (2) .
Remove bolts (1) from the clamps which fasten tire scraper assembly (5) to the machine. Remove tire scraper assembly (5) from the machine.
Remove bolts (3) which fasten tire scraper (4). Repeat for the remaining scrapers.Installation Procedure

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Position scraper (4) and install bolts (3). Repeat for the remaining scrapers.
Position tire scraper assembly (5) onto the machine. Install bolts (1) through the clamps which fasten tire scraper assembly (5) to the machine. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 12 3 N m (9 2 lb ft).
Install springs (2) .
