When the swing control lever is moved swing parking brake (3) releases and motor rotary group (4) starts to rotate.The swing drive is installed on the upper structure. The swing drive reduces the motor speed by two stages. The swing drive rotates the upper structure.Swing Right Operation
When the left control lever is moved to the RIGHT position, pilot oil from pilot control valve (23) flows through pilot line (20) and into swing control valve (21). The stem in swing control valve (21) shifts.Rear pump oil flows through parallel feeder passage (12) and load check valve (11) into swing control valve (21). The oil then flows through passage (9) and line (7) into motor rotary group (4). Motor rotary group (4) rotates and the upper structure swings to the right.Return oil from motor rotary group (4) flows through line (6), passage (8), swing control valve (21), passage (10) and return line (19) to hydraulic tank (30) .Swing Left Operation
When the left control lever is moved to the LEFT position, pilot oil flows through pilot line (24) and into swing control valve (21). The stem in swing control valve (21) shifts.Rear pump oil in parallel feeder passage (12) flows through load check valve (11) and into swing control valve (21). The oil then flows through passage (8), and line (6) into motor rotary group (4). Motor rotary group (4) rotates and the upper structure swings to the left.Return oil from motor rotary group (4) flows through line (7), passage (9), swing control valve (21), passage (10) and return line (19) to hydraulic tank (30) .
