BEARING 5352944 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect hose (2) from the precleaner.2. Remove bolts (1) that hold the precleaner in position on the hood. 3. Remove precleaner and pipe (3) as a unit from the air cleaner housing and the channel on the engine. 4. Remove the precleaner from hose (4).5. Remove the pipe from hose (4). Remove the brace from the pipe. 6. Remove cup (5) from the housing. 7. Remove primary element (6).8. Remove the nuts and lockwashers. Remove secondary element (8). 9. Remove the two bolts. Remove housing (7).Install Precleaner And Air Cleaner
The left precleaner and air cleaner is shown.1. Clean and inspect all parts. Make a replacement of all parts that are worn or damaged. 2. Install the gasket and housing (1) on the bracket. 3. Install secondary element (2). 4. Put primary element (3) in position in the housing. 5. Install cup (4) on the housing. 6. Install hose (7) on pipe (8).7. Install the brace on pipe (8). 8. Put precleaner (6) in position in hose (7).9. Make sure gasket (5) is in position on the housing.10. Install pipe (8) on the housing. Install precleaner (6) on the hood.11. Connect the bracket to the channel on the engine.12. Connect the hose to precleaner (6).13. Tighten clamp (9) on hose (7).
